Dr. Tallón’s class will include two books, a presentation as extensive as I have ever seen it, and a long day packed with practical information and hands-on work.
Dr. Tallón is a most experienced teacher with great passion for his work. He wants to make this class a huge success and is willing to stay on for as many hours as the group needs to practice and learn his protocols. We will have patients for Dr. Tallón to demonstrate infiltrations and discuss specific aspects of each illness. Dr. Tallón takes a multi-faceted approach to managing and combatting pain that includes physical therapy, conventional medication, psychotherapy, ozone with PRP infiltrations and much more. In this course, he will teach how to use all of these tools in specific types of patients.
Dr. Tallón will share his knowledge of chronic, non-oncologic pain, describing first how to understand it and then how to create a multi-faceted strategy to help your patients manage and overcome pain. He will share the protocols he has developed over his entire career with the attendees. After the theory component of this class, there will be opportunity to learn how to perform infiltrations with ozone/PRP on live patients.
Specifically, Dr. Tallón will discuss chronic pain in the following illnesses:
1. Patients with head and neck pain (jaw disfunction, primary migraines, whiplash, craniofacial neuralgias and neuropathy).
2. Fibromialgia patients.
3. Patients with post-surgery traumatic pain (tendinitis, post-laminectomy syndrome etc) that do not respond well to the usual pain treatments.
Dr. Tallón will teach specific ozone and ozone and PRP infiltrations in cases of maxillofacial chronic pain, back pain, myofascial pain, neck and upper back (for whiplash pain), specific infiltrations on fibromyalgia patients and nerve blocking will also be discussed.
NOTE: Space for this course is limited to no more than 20 students.
